Prayer Warriors,
Our prayers are being answered! Cole's head ultrasound showed that the bleed is stable and the ventricles are NOT dilated compared to the last ultrasound. We are so thankful for this great news! The neonatalogists and the neurologists are still discussing the next step, and we will let you know when we know something.
Cole is now on 21 ccs at each feed and only sugar water in his IV. We are also praying that he will tolerate his "full" feeds and will be able to have his PIC line removed later this week. He hates his CPAP, but still needs it to assist with his breathing, although he is making great progress.
The nurses have all seen his eyes open, but today was our first time to see sweet Cole's eyes! It was such an amazing experience!
Thank you for continuing to intercede on behalf of Cole. We know that he is living up to the meaning of his name-victorious one and warrior!
Love,
Ali and Cy
