Just a quick update on Cole's progress:
His eye exam last week showed that his vessels have continued to develop and mature. He is now at an extremely low risk for ROP (an eye disease common in preemies). He doesn't have another eye exam for 6-9 months.
He loves his new home in Level 2. We have started making friends with all the new nurses. Cole enjoys his mobile and really does perk up when we play the music.
He now weighs 5 lb 2 oz and has a double chin! :) His preemie clothes are getting a tad too small and we are excited to switch his wardrobe to his newborn clothes.
We had car seat education today and learned the proper way to secure him in his car seat. The next time he is in that seat he will be coming home!
