Dear Family and Friends,
Cole is recovering well after his shunt surgery. We are relieved that the procedure is behind us. Cole has been reaching milestones in the past few days--including his first smile!
We went to the pediatrician yesterday for his 4 month check up and shots. Cole weighed 9 lb 3 oz. Dr. Pielop said he didn't need to see us until Cole's 6 month check up. We went today to the neurosurgeon for a follow up and to get Cole's stitches removed. Dr. Whitehead said Cole was healing nicely and he didn't need to see us for 3 months. Eventhough we love our doctors, we are excited that we won't have to see them for a few months!
As always, we appreciate your prayers. We are so blessed to have so many people who follow the progress of our sweet little boy. Thank your for all your calls, emails and text messages to let us know that you are praying for Cole. Our support group is truly amazing.
