January 22, 2009

    Friends,

I wanted to send another update to let you know how Allison and the twins are doing. I would like to thank everyone for their prayers, kind words and support during this time. It has been very humbling to see how our friends have rallied around us with love throughout the past week. We also want to make sure that we give God total glory for where we are and for keeping us in the hospital. As I pace the room watching her contractions I can see His provision minute by minute as the monitor rolls on. We believe that God told Allison to come to the hospital because she never felt different but simply "thought we should go". The doctor told us that if we had not come last Tuesday that the babies would have been delivered that night!

We had good news last night from our ultrasound. The kids are now over 2 pounds and growing. We are praying that they stay put for another month. We would really appreciate you praying with us to that end. This has been a fight! She did not feel well and was in extreme pain over the weekend as her stomach adjusted to the medicine and laying flat on her back. She can not sit up whatsoever. Gravity is not our friend at the moment.

We have actually had some fun too as we laugh at this journey of life. It has been my pleasure to serve my sweet bride during this time and I am amazed at her patience and strength. It is amazing how much she and I love our kids, who we have not even met yet. We are in good spirits and are counting this trial as pure joy as we seek the Lord's provision during this time. Please continue to pray for us and also to give God praise for his already answered prayers.

Allison is not able to reply to emails but she is reading them and appreciates all of your kind words and prayers... More to come, but for now if you need us we'll be sitting at Women's Hospital with all our fingers and legs crossed.......

    In Christ,

    Cy
