IT'S MOVING DAY!
We are so happy to share that Cole moved to Level 2 today!
The doctors decided that his bradycardia episodes (when his heart rate drops below 100) had decreased significantly and he was ready to move. Last week Cole would have 10-12 episodes every day. This week he has only had 1-2 each day. We are thrilled that he moved as it is one step closer to coming home! We will miss all the wonderful nurses that had become like family over the past 5 weeks. We are so thankful for all the nurses who cared for Cole like he was their own baby.
He is doing much better with his suck, swallow and breathe technique while taking his bottle. We are also doing much better with the techniques to help him be successful.
He weighed 4 lb 10 oz last night!
